Wearable UV Sensor Development + Manufacturing

I made improvements to the existing Suncayr Inc. product, the SPOT™, for large scale production, including optimizing device reusability, rectifying compatibility issues with certain sunscreens, and reducing manufacturing costs by investigating alternative materials.
I worked with contract manufacturers to deliver Suncayr's first successful production run with 300 000+ units of the Minimum Viable Product. The units I helped make are currently being used by consumers.
I worked with contract manufacturers to develop an application layer for improved user experience
Optimized "Skin-Mimicking" properties for desired sunscreen interaction
I designed my own experiments and followed through with a data-driven approach to assessing sunscreen compatibility issues.
The SPOT™ works by turning purple when it is exposed to UV, and clear when the user has applied sufficient sunscreen to mitigate exposure.
