I was an Undergraduate Research Assistant with the Centre for Intelligent Antenna and Radio Systems (CIARS) at the University of Waterloo. I developed and implemented automated testing procedures for new radar technology. I wrote python scripts for precision motion stages, designed and assembled custom test fixtures, and acquired data for Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) verification.
The objective of my project was to support the verification of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) technology for varying hardware and data acquisition methodologies

I wrote a python library to interface with a precision motion stage over UART. One of the primary challenges was to synchronize motion stage encoder readings with radar triggers.
